Whats in a book?

A book is a TOOL.

I believe that a book is a tool that we use to gain knowledge and a sense of the world that we might not have had before.

I find this statement to be utterly and truly false!!! A book isn't something that people should take for granted! Seriously! A toaster?? Books have value and they add benefits to the world, not just toast!!!

OK this guy KNOWS WHERE ITS AT!!! I agree 100%. I'm not saying that t.v.'s and movies should be illegal, but come on!!! A give props to the people who have the creativity to create these shows and films but that's just it...its THEIR creativity!!


The new and improved book... the kindle, the i-pad. I don't think that they have no value. They are definitely the trend and are the books of the future. In this day and age we want whats new. Physical books are thought to be too much of a hassle. I think that you should be able to choose which form you find most convenient. Your still reading which is all that matters. Yes I prefer the physical book but I don't think its because it has 'magical' abilities. I thinks its a personal preference.
